Storm and Flood Assistance
Just after 10:30pm Emergency Services were notified of a House fire in Gilmore.
ACT Fire & Rescue firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, undertook aggressive internal firefighting and successfully contained the fire to the room or origin.
All Occupants were safely evacuated and no injuries were reported.
ACT Fire & Rescue would like to remind all Canberrans to make sure that their smoke detectors are working and all clothing and furniture is kept clear of room heaters.
