Who we are

The ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS) is responsible for providing emergency and non-emergency ambulance services to the ACT community.

Fees and charges

Ambulance fees and charges are approved by the Minister for Police and Emergency Services and are reviewed annually.

The history of Ambulance Services

The Ambulance Service began its life in 1913 as a single model T-Ford, owned and operated by the Transport Section of the Australian Federal Government.
