Unit Fire - Gowrie

At approximately 930am this morning, ACT Fire and Rescue (ACTF&R) and ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS) attended a unit fire in Denehy Place, Gowrie.

Two fire pumpers were deployed to the site and crews have now completely extinguished the fire.

Extensive damage was done to the lounge room area of the unit.

Residents safely self-evacuated and were checked onsite by ACTAS.

The premises has now been made safe and emergency services will shortly depart the location.
