A change in wind direction is currently causing smoke from bushfires burning in NSW to blow across the region.
There are currently no grass or bush fires in the ACT.
Canberrans are reminded to please call Triple Zero (000) if you see an unattended fire (notably a visible flame or distinct column of smoke). Clear details of the location of the fire will also help us attend to it quickly.
