Today, Firebird 100 with infered capabilities and ACT Policing drones have been our eyes in the sky.
This footage captured by Firebird 100 shows the spot fires 4km from the southern ACT border near the remote area of the Namadgi National Park.
On the ground, a strike team including ACT Rural Fire Service, ACT Parks and Conservation Service ACT Fire & Rescue, ACT Ambulance Service and ACT State Emergency Service personnel have been deployed to provide property protection in the Adaminaby area.
This bushfire season, the ACT has deployed a total of 1567 personnel to assist with fires burning across NSW and QLD.
