ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) were called to a fire on Pirie Street, Fyshwick at approximately 6:20pm. Firefighters arrived to a skip bin well alight with flames impacting a nearby structure. The fire was quickly extinguished and firefighters are assessing the structure for damage. ACTF&R would like to thank members of the community for early triple zero (000) calls alerting them to the incident, allowing them to prevent the fire spreading.
