Weather permitting, the ACT Rural Fire Service Hall Brigade will be carrying out a short, controlled burn this Saturday 22 Nov, between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm, at Croke Place, Evatt.
This burn is part of CSIRO’s grassfire research and brings together a great collaboration of agencies – Landcare, TCCS, PCS, and the ACTRFS.
Why is this burn taking place? To support important bushfire science and land management.
Please note: These burns will be brief and carefully managed.
