Welcome to the new ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) website (Yes, the one you are on right now!)
The ESA is the single point of truth for emergency information within the ACT. Through News Alerts, the Live Incidents Map and ESA News, we aim to keep our community informed and up to date about emergencies and risks.
The Live Incidents Map is a free tool we’ve made available to provide a visual overview of active incidents ESA services are responding to. News Alerts provide you with updates on incidents impacting the community, and ESA News shares the general happenings within the ESA.
In conjunction with the launch of our new website, we have made some changes to the Live Incidents Map. Now, for the first time the Live Incidents Map will include ACT Ambulance Service incidents. Ambulance incidents are shown at a ‘suburb level’, not an exact location. We have done this deliberately to ensure that we maintain the privacy of our patients.
We plan to add ACT Rural Fire Service and ACT State Emergency Service information to the Live Incidents Map in the near future. Watch this space!
Further improvements include easier access to emergency education material. Visit our ‘CBR Be Emergency Ready’ page to find out how you can ‘get ready’ for an emergency.
Other changes have been carefully designed to make it easier for people to navigate through the website and gather information.
