ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Ambulance Service have responded to a fire in a washing machine on Filshie Close in Fraser.
At approximately 9:00pm, firefighters arrived on scene to find that residents had extinguished a small fire in a washing machine.
The single-level home was smoke logged and required ventilation.
ACT Ambulance Service paramedics treated seven people for smoke inhalation including four minors and three adults. The three adults were transferred to hospital in stable condition for further assessment.
The fire caused minor damage to the laundry.
