Firefighters have been called to two small grass fires tonight - one on Kent Street in Deakin, the other near the Woden Cemetery.
Both fires were extinguished quickly and crews are no longer on scene. The causes will be investigated.
The heavy smoke across the ACT has been blown in from fires burning in NSW. Please only call Triple Zero (000) if you see an unattended fire or new column of smoke.
