Firefighters and 4 aircraft have continued to work on the fire burning at Square Rock, Corin. The fire is located East of Corin Dam.
The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire remains at ADVICE.
There is still active fire present.
Forecast light rain and cooler weather conditions today will continue to see reduced fire activity across the fire ground. Firefighters have made good use of these conditions to continue the focus on consolidating containment lines and extinguishing any hot spots that can be accessed from the ground.
Containment lines have been created by firefighters along the South Eastern edge of the fire front. Further focus to secure this area will be made throughout the night by a team of 30 firefighters.
There is currently no threat to property.
The fire has burnt approximately 24 hectares.
