Storm and Flood Assistance
The ACT State Emergency Service received 37 calls for help following storms across Canberra this afternoon.
All jobs have now been completed. Majority of requests for assistance were for minor roof damage and fallen trees across roads and driveways.
Five volunteer units from ACTSES were supported by ACT Fire & Rescue crews.
ACTSES remind the Canberra community to #BeStormReady and to visit the ESA website for information on how to prepare for a storm.
