ACT SES, ACT Fire & Rescue, ACT Rural Fire Service and Transport Canberra and City Services have been responding to 168 Requests For Assistance following today's rain events.
Crews will continue to work throughout the evening and into tomorrow to complete requests.
The Bureau of Meteorology is maintaining a watch on the weather in the Canberra and surrounding region as further weather events are predicted.
ACT SES reminds residents to:
- Keep away from trees and fallen powerlines
- Not walk, ride or drive through flood water
- Turn headlights on when driving; and
- Drive to the conditions
