Update - Pierces Creek Bush/Grass fire - ADVICE

The fire at Pierces Creek remains contained. The ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) advises the community that the alert level for this fire remains at ADVICE. Ground crews from the ACT Rural Fire Service will continue to patrol the fire ground for hotspots during the day and overnight. Crews will continue firefighting operations and rehabilitation throughout the week. Kambah Pool Road is now open. Pierces Creek forest area remains closed. The ESA requires the public to stay away from the area due to ongoing firefighting and rehabilitation. The Fire Danger Rating for tomorrow is LOW - MODERATE. Weather conditions are forecast to remain favourable for firefighting efforts, with rain expected to continue through to Wednesday.
