Emergency service personnel are currently on scene at a car crash on Nettlefold Street in Belconnen.
Three ambulances, an ACT Ambulance Service Commander, two pumpers and an ACT Fire & Rescue Commander responded to the incident involving two cars and three patients.
Two patients have already been removed from the car and ACT Fire & Rescue firefighters are now using hydraulic tools to extricate the final patient.
ACT Ambulance Service paramedics are assessing all three patients on scene. One male in his twenties is currently being transported to The Canberra Hospital in a stable condition. One female in her thirties is currently being assessed and treated on scene. One female in her twenties will be treated after being rescued from the car.
Nettlefold Street has been closed in the direction going towards the Belconnen town centre and is shut down to one lane in the other direction. Southbound on Coulter Drive has also been shut down to one lane. ACT Policing are on scene managing traffic.
The community is advised to avoid the area if possible.
