Fire extinguished at Mitchell Resource Management Centre

Firefighters have extinguished a fire in two semi-trailers at the Mitchell Resource Management Centre.

ACT Fire & Rescue was called to the incident just after 6pm.

Crews used water and foam to bring the fire under control. Smoke will be visible in the area for some time.

Three trucks and a commander are on scene. The fire is not believed to be suspicious.

ACT Fire & Rescue is assisting with clean-up operations and expects to leave the scene within the hour.
