Firefighters have extinguished a fire tonight in a Griffith home.
ACT Fire & Rescue was called to Lockyer Street shortly before 9pm. The fire started in a bedroom and extended into the roof where it was contained.
No occupants were home at the time. A neighbour called Emergency Triple Zero (000) when smoke was sighted coming from the rear of the property.
The ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Policing are also on scene.
The cause of the blaze is currently being investigated.
