Firefighters have extinguished a small grass fire at Beard on the ACT/NSW border.
ACT Fire & Rescue was alerted to the incident between Railway Street and the Molonglo River just after 1 o'clock.
Three fire crews from ACT Fire & Rescue and one from the ACT Rural Fire Service attended the scene with the support of two commanders.
The fire, approximately 20 metres by 30 metres, is believed to have cause some minor damage to overhead powerlines but contractors are on site undertaking repairs.
The cause is unknown.
