Firefighters are mopping up final hot spots in the recycling pile.
Today, ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Rural Fire Service crews continued to separate the material and wet it down. Favourable conditions meant operations were progressively scaled back this afternoon.
Two units will remain on scene to monitor the situation overnight.
The fire is expected to be extinguished tomorrow.
