Storm and Flood Assistance
Firefighters are on scene at an apartment fire in Gowrie Court in Narrabundah.
Residents in nearby homes are being evacuated.
ACT Fire & Rescue has three pumpeers and two commander on scene. The fire, located in one of the ground floor apartments, is under control.
The ACT Ambulance Service is also in attendance. A 38-year-old man has been treated for smoke inhalation by intensive care paramedics and will be transported the Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
An Emergency Triple Zero (000) call was received at 10:50pm.
