The Territory and Municipal Services Directorate (TAMS) has commenced a hazard reduction burn today at Kowen Forest.
The burn, covering a number of piles of forest debris spread over a 30 hectare area, is expected to take two to three days to complete, weather conditions permitting.
Smoke from the burn is expected to be visible across the ACT for the duration.
