Storm and Flood Assistance
The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) will tomorrow, Friday 24 April, 2015, send a second taskforce to Sydney to assist in recovery operations following the weather crisis.
The 23 ACTSES volunteers will be briefed at 12.30pm at the ACT Emergency Services Agency headquarters building at Fairbairn before departing by bus. This deployment will replace the first ACTSES contingent that began work yesterday.
Crews will be tasked in the Blacktown area as directed by the NSW State Emergency Service for three days and will return back to the ACT on Sunday evening.
