Roof ripped off Canberra Avenue building

Firefighters are using the Bronto Aerial Unit to assess damage to a building which has lost part of its roof.

An Emergency Triple Zero call was made at 6:41am.

ACT Fire & Rescue units are also working to remove part of the roof which landed on Canberra Avenue.

WorkSafe ACT has also been called to the incident.

Crews will remain on scene for some time.
