12 calls for help following windy weather

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has received a total of 12 calls for help since 9am today due to the windy weather.

ACTSES volunteers and ACT Fire & Rescue have attended to trees and branches across roads, pathways and driveways.

Calls for help have been widespread across the suburbs of Canberra. Mostly minor damage reported. One tree branch has damaged a residence at Holt.

Residents who require storm or flood assistance can call the ACTSES on 132 500.
