Power outage at childcare centre

ACT Fire & Rescue are on scene at the Jenny Wren Childcare Centre, 18 Enderby Street, Mawson.

Firefighters were called to the centre following a power failure.

Due to the heat, 92 children have remained inside the building with crews monitoring their safety.

ACTEW is working to restore power.

ACT Fire & Rescue has two units on scene and a commander.
