ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics and ACT Fire & Rescue have been on scene at a single motorcycle accident on the Cotter Road, Casuarina Sands.
A female passenger on the motorcycle, aged in her 40's, has been treated for critical head and chest injuries with multiple fractures and was taken to the Canberra Hospital.
The male rider was uninjured.
