In a life threatening emergency dial Triple Zero (000)
Storm and Flood Assistance
The ACT State Emergency Service has received a total of 300 calls for help as a result of the storm activity this afternoon.
Multiple crews from the ACTSES, ACT Fire & Rescue, ACTRFS, TAMS and ACTEW AGL are responding to the jobs. More than 200 cases are yet to be tasked.
The ACTSES ask the community to be patient when calling 132 500 for storm and flood help. Calls are prioritised based on the severity of damage in initial calls. The ACTSES is currently ringing callers back to make more detailed assessments of the damage involved.
Crews will continue responding to jobs well into tomorrow at this stage.
You should only ring Emergency Triple Zero (000) for life threatening situations.
