ADVICE - Grass fire extinguished at Griffith

ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Rural Fire Service has extinguished a grass fire burning near Flinders Way, Griffith.

The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.

ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Rural Fire Service has two units on scene.

The fire is located near Flinders Way and Griffith Oval.

The fire was approximately 40 metres x 20 metres in size and is extinguished with crews conducting mopping up operations.

At the current fire danger level of high fires can be controlled.

There is little to no risk to life and property from this fire.
