Update two - ACTSES receive 149 calls for help following windy weather

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has received a total of 149 calls for help following the windy weather today.

ACTSES and ACT Fire & Rescue crews have responded to fallen trees and branches across roads, pathways, cars and property as well as some structural damage to pergolas, houses and fences.

Calls for help have been widespread from all areas of the ACT.

Residents who require storm or flood assistance can call the ACTSES on 132 500.
