ADVICE - Grass fire at Tuggeranong extinguished

ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Rural Fire Service have extinguished a grass fire burning on Anketell and Reed Street, Greenway at Guilfoyle House.

The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.

ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Rural Fire Service has six units on scene.

The fire was approximately 500 square metres in size.

The building was evacuated as a precaution whilst crews investigate for any fire spread but have just confirmed no fire entered the building.

At the current fire danger level of extreme fires can be difficult to control.

There is little to no risk to life and property from this fire.
