The ACT Rural Fire Service is currently working to extinguish a forest fire burning in the far south west region of the Namadgi National Park.
The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.
The ACT Rural Fire Service has a waterbombing aircraft on scene and two additional aircraft with the Remote Area Fire Teams (RAFT) are preparing to winch into the location.
The remote fire is located near Sentry Box Mountain and is currently not threatening any property.
The fire is burning at a slow rate under the current conditions.
At the current fire danger level of low-moderate fires can be easily controlled.
There is little to no risk to life and property from this fire.
