The ACT Rural Fire Service is working to extinguish a forest fire burning in the far south west region of the Namadgi National Park.
The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.
The ACT Rural Fire Service has two water bombing aircraft on scene and two Remote Area Fire Teams (RAFT) who are working the perimeter of the fire.
The fire is located near Sentry Box Mountain, near the ACT and NSW border and is currently not threatening any property.
The fire is approximately five hectares in size and is being controlled.
The fire is burning at a slow rate and is heading in a south easterly direction.
At the current fire danger level of low-moderate fires can be easily controlled.
There is little to no risk to life and property from this fire.
