Update - ADVICE - Grass fire at Mine Shaft Road, Paddys River

ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Rural Fire Service are working to extinguish a scrub fire burning on Mine Shaft Road, in the Pierces Creek Forest Area.

The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.

ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Rural Fire Service have five units on scene.

The fire is located 300 metres from Paddys River Road.

The fire is approximately three quarters of a hectare in size and is contained.

Crews are conducting mopping up operations.

At the current fire danger level of low-moderate fires can be easily controlled.

There is little to no risk to life and property from this fire.
