Update two - Strong winds cause damage

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has now received 44 calls for help as a result of strong winds tonight.

All ACTSES units are activated along with ACT Fire & Rescue firefighters.

22 jobs remain outstanding.

Residents who need because of damage from the winds can call the ACTSES on 132 500.
