Storm and Flood Assistance
The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has now received 20 calls for help as a result of strong winds tonight.
All calls for fallen trees including one onto a car in Tennyson Crescent Forrest.
ACTSES advise wind speeds have dropped down to 30km per hour with gusts up to 50km per hour.
ACT Fire & Rescue also responded to multiple automatic fire alarms at the height of the winds.
