The ACT Rural Fire Service (ACTRFS) will conduct a hazard reduction burn tonight, Thursday 22 September, 2011, weather permitting, from 6.30pm till 9.30pm, on Jerrabomberra Ave, near Narrabundah Lane, Symonston.
Three tankers, two light units and 14 personnel will conduct the burn covering a total area of approx half a hectare.
The purpose of the burn is to reduce a fire hazard with the removal of accumulated fuel.
